Cristiano Ronaldo’s boots for FIFA Confederations Cup

These unique boots were designed and created by Nike which will represent the national pride and Portugal national team’s Euro 2016 success.

Cristiano Ronaldo is seen highly focused in the upcoming tournament FIFA Confederations Cup. The Portuguese superstar will not be wearing his usual pair of Nike CR7 Mercurials in this cup. He will be playing in a pair wrapped in his country’s color.

After their huge success in Euro 2016, the Portuguese national team will begin their campaign on 18th of June against North American giants Mexico. And will obviously be hoping to add another trophy in their cabinet.

Cristiano Rolando’s boots are red themed and have ankle fitted support with gold Nike tick and a small Portugal flag on the back of the boots. Gold color is added because that is the color of champions.

While Ronaldo’s popularity could easily cement the shoes as a best-seller, the boots are not available at retail. According to offcials at Nike, “they were created specifically for the world’s best player.” No one else can wear it.

Cristiano Ronaldo signed with Nike back in 2003. The Portuguese star had signed with the brand when he was 18 years old. In 2013 Nike signed Ronaldo for a $105 million deal till 2019. But looking now at the endorsement, it seems the deal will last longer than originally expected. Ronaldo has enjoyed another phenomenal season for club and country and shows no sign of slowing down.
